These animal cell photo are meant to represent the animal kingdom. I like to think of them as a kind of mini-zoo, where every single animal is represented, with the exception of the turtle. The photo of the turtle is actually a small version of this photo; the difference is that the turtle is a little more zoomed in and the background is a little less bright. Both photos are for the purpose of illustrating my current hypothesis that the animal species we know and love best are far from the only ones alive (in fact, quite a few are).
Like with all of our photos, they are pretty damn awesome though. I also took some “animal” shots of my laptop and my dog, as well.
