The beauty of machine learning is that it is usually done after the fact, which means that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get the right set of resources to implement. You can also try to automate your testing using a mixture of scripts and automation. These days, even cloud-based service providers give you the ability to use machine learning to automate your tests.
There are a couple of different versions of automated testing with machines learning, but I would say that machine learning is something entirely different. It’s the only software tool that can automatically train and test your own automated test automation systems.
This is probably one of the most common questions I get asked. The first thing I would suggest doing is getting a book like Machine Learning for Test Automation by Andrew Ng. Andrew Ng, the founder of Siri, is the man who pioneered the machine learning technology that we now use to make sense of spoken language with Siri. Ng has quite the resume, having worked at Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.
