In other words: we have to make our lives easier for computers. So, to solve problems that computers cannot solve, we have to give computers ideas and problems.
This is just a simple example, but it is one of the most important things to understand. If the goal of using computers is to make our lives easier, then we must understand the nature of automation. What is a computer? What does it do? Who are they? What do they do?! These are all important questions and we need to understand the answers.
The concept of automation is often misunderstood. The term has a negative connotation, but in reality, computers are self-aware, self-tuning, self-learning machines. They tend to go on autopilot when humans try to take over the computer’s job. This is the main reason why we use computers so often – it’s so much easier to get someone else to do the work.
